The field that steers discovery is Usage guide (shown in Chinese Studio as 项目使用方式). Write who you want, which channels matter, and what to skip.
Write a brief that can be judged
Good:
Indie developers who just shipped and have almost no users. Reddit, X, Xiaohongshu. Prefer “looking for first users” over generic tool roundups. Do not pitch in threads that ask for investors.
Weak:
We want growth.
You can change this later. If the inbox is noisy, tighten the audience and the red lines before you ask for more volume.
Also keep name, tagline, website, and logo current. Those show on the project card and public pages.
After you save
New runs use the updated brief. Old opportunities stay in the inbox until you ignore or close them.
